Globally, spirits lead as the most consumed alcoholic beverages, followed by beer, wine, and other types. However, regional preferences vary significantly.

Americas: 54% Beer, 14% Wine, 32% Spirits, 1% Other
Eastern Mediterranean: 40% Beer, 15% Wine, 42% Spirits, 3% Other
