37-year-old Dr. Stephen Modise has been appointed as Botswana's Minister of Health.

He holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree, a Doctor of Medicine degree, a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education and a Master’s Degree in Health Professions Education.

He is a Specially Elected Member of Parliament.
